The Grass Garden (aka The Glass Garden)

The world populated by the elves of all sizes is in danger. A deity named The Blooming Queen chose you to be the Blooming Mages. Your task is to preserve the world and protect it from the evil forces of The Glass King.

... or was it The Glass King that was the good one? Surely his goal of progressing the world from the medieval stasis is a noble one, right?

In this game, the players join forces with a deity to fight off the influences of the opposing deity. Inspired by Power Rangers, magical girl tropes, and to an extent KPop Demon Hunters.

This game is an experiment in several ways. Firstly, it's a spiritual successor to Runehack: Fairy Heist by borrowing its Height mechanic and building on it. Since the theme of this year's One Page RPG Jam was "growth", I decided it might be time to go wacky and make changing height into a game mechanic. At least, that's how it started... by now it's a spell available to one of the character sheets.

All rules for this game are written on two character sheets: all players choose one type, and the GM gets the other one. This is why both sheets contain guidelines for the GM.

It isn't playtested, so there might be flaws in it.
