Runehack: Fairy Heist
A downloadable game
"You wish to become rich, right? Well, I've got a proposition for you. See those massive houses beyond the fairy town? You could easily sneak in, take what you can, and bring it to me. I'll pay you fair and square, and you can then do whatever you want with your earned credits. You could, of course, visit my pal to get more apps for future break-ins. But how you use your money is none of my business."
Runehack: Fairy Heist is a TTRPG, in which one or more players play as fairies breaking and entering into big folk's houses to steal their possessions and resell them to their fence. Each player character is mechanically defined by three aspects: what's their height, how many credits do they have, and what abilities do they possess.
I would appreciate you checking out my list of all my articles about the world of Runehack if you'd like to learn more about it. Your game can take place in the city of Jewelstake, known for its daring denizens who love to gamble and gather riches. However, most of the cities linked in the list could make for a good setting for the game, as long as they have the big folk, fairies, and runetech in them. Although Timberhaven doesn't fulfill these conditions, I'd recommend giving it a look for more details about the fairies.
Special thanks to Arell, my lovely girlfriend, who has drawn the fairy and the jewelry box illustrations for this game. Additional thanks go out to all the friends who have helped me by proofreading my work, and/or playtesting it with me.
Note: This applies to 1pRPGJ2022 Edition. Limited to one page of mechanics, I had to omit some things. If you're a GM for this system, I encourage you to invent new elements for the map that can be used for or against the players. Do the big folk have security cameras? Locked doors that require keys? The How to Draw a Map section describes just one way to do it, so feel free to experiment, as long as your group is okay with it.

So elegant yet so fun, I love the duality of the height stat! Great game!
